Bundy front Suspension (radius arms)

Post by Remydog05 »

Just been hitting the search button and reading the many threads but couldnt find this!

Would 80seires front radius arms fit in on a Bundy diff?

Therefore be able to provide a longer drop of the suspension (with the correct spring and shock)?

Ive found lots about how crap bundy suspension is and how people use 80 series front coils, but I thought i found a thread a while back that had 80 radius arms in the front?? I would be guessing they would be quite a bit longer than the bundy ones if they do fit.

Anyone know the measurement from bush to bush on the radius arms?
I think 80s are 240mm???

bundys run pin and 80s run eye at the rear of the radius arms, so custom drop boxes would need to be made

Yeah true, I forgot about that, but I cant see it that hard to make.

What other things has anyone done to make the front work better?

Shock towers or lengths help at all?

they cost me close enough to 18 dollars each plate to get cut, So how about we say $20 a plate, and ya need 4 per diff, plus freight. p.m if interested

You could X-link front and rear. Radius arm suspension systems act like a huge sway bar and have a very high roll stiffness which hugely decreases it's ability to articulate.
Don't take life too seriously...it isn't permanent.
