Bundy front Suspension (radius arms)
Just been hitting the search button and reading the many threads but couldnt find this!
Would 80seires front radius arms fit in on a Bundy diff?
Therefore be able to provide a longer drop of the suspension (with the correct spring and shock)?
Ive found lots about how crap bundy suspension is and how people use 80 series front coils, but I thought i found a thread a while back that had 80 radius arms in the front?? I would be guessing they would be quite a bit longer than the bundy ones if they do fit.
Anyone know the measurement from bush to bush on the radius arms?
I think 80s are 240mm???

Yeah true, I forgot about that, but I cant see it that hard to make.pozman wrote:bundys run pin and 80s run eye at the rear of the radius arms, so custom drop boxes would need to be made
What other things has anyone done to make the front work better?
Shock towers or lengths help at all?

You could X-link front and rear. Radius arm suspension systems act like a huge sway bar and have a very high roll stiffness which hugely decreases it's ability to articulate.Remydog05 wrote:What other things has anyone done to make the front work better?
Don't take life too seriously...it isn't permanent.
