I had a ball at Woodpecker (All 40 odd seconds of it) and LOVED Tuff Truck so I'll see if Scott or Jas are keen!

Wanna spot me into a poll again Tony?

The rules will be a little different than the Woodpecker you competed in. There will be 5 to 6 stages & if you bomb out in one of them, you can move on to the next one. So you should get more than 40 seconds out of this event. Also one track has 3 stages and it is approx 1.5km long. The other stages are around 200 meters long.

Because there won't be a heap of vehicles competing in this event I may change the rules so that you don't have to be a member of a Club. I will provide a definite answer to this question further down the track.

my beat up farm truck won't be as pretty and cool as mal and pete maybe I can add the country hick aspect the to NSW team haha we'll see NSW may not want me I reckon there will be HEAPS of NSW cars lining up for this great new comp.

It's a pity that the dates force us toads to choose between our local comp SATC and this...... you'd reckon with all those weekends in a year...... What to do???

I think we should leave it to the cane toads to pick the weekend, we will work to any weekend they request as long as it does not fall on a Willowglen, Toperi, Tuff Truck etc- weekend. This leaves no excuses now. Come on QLD, the ball is in your court now!

If you don't need to be in a club, team Rock Art would be interested.

I know it's no big deal to join a club, but it's just one less thing to sort out.

Not sure you're talking about the same guy there Chris, the boys in our club never like using a little bit of 'love' on the tracks. ;) Maybe you need a bit more barwork on the back of the lux?? :finger:

O a serious note, I can't wait to see you guys teamed up together, should give it a good go!!

Should not be to hard to pick a NSW side. Just use the top 6 teams from the weekend. The same teams that supported you guys last weekend should be first picked.

Hi All,

As you would all know by now we had a very successful City v Country. Now it is time to start getting serious with NSW v QLD, (I don't mean the Rugby League). What we could not do in the league I am sure we will make up for it in 4wding.

To make this event happen we need at least 6 vehicles from QLD. So come on toads the Challenge is on. The tracks are very challenging & you will not be disappointed. You will have plenty of drive time & a good work out.

For Queenslanders - I will need an e-mail sent to gothe80@bigpond.net.au & Cc- yogikilller80@hotmail.com expressing your interest to compete. I will also need what type of vehicle & mods you have. Note- operational winches & double diff locks are mandatory. We need to know if QLD will have 6 vehicles available to compete by 31 July 2010. If QLD does not have 6 vehicle by 31/07 then the event will more than likely not happen.

If proven that you were born in QLD & are now living in the premier State NSW, then you will be legible to compete for QLD.

For NSW- I will need an e-mail sent to gothe80@bigpond.net.au & Cc- yogikilller80@hotmail.com expressing your interest to compete.

To be included in the NSW team you would have at least needed to compete in a Woodpecker Challenge, Tuff Truck, or Toperi. You must have an operational winch & double diff locks. All this information must be included on your expression of interest e-mail. Cut off date for expressions of interest for NSW competitors is 24/07/10.

Any questions about rules & regulations can be answered by sending an e-mail to gothe80@bigpond.net.au & Cc- yogikiller80@hotmail.com

Cost of the event will be $350 per vehicle, this includes navigator.

Stayed tuned for regular updates.
