Hi all,
Having trouble finding a straight answer on this when trying to compare MN vs ML Tritons.
I drove the 3.2 in a Paj ago and was impressed, and recently the 2.5 in a Triton and also liked it, but won't have a chance to drive each back to back when looking at buying next financial year.
What engine is better on the highway, and what engine is better offroad? Peak Kw/Nm can only tell you half the story I think.
Cheers,
Jimmy

Triton 3.2 DiD vs 2.5 DiD

hey mate as far as the difference between the 3.2 and the 2.5's in the tritons the 2.5 uses 700ml less fuel per 100ks on the highway and has more power and torque to back it up. some other things you may be interested in is that the new tritons have active stability and traction controll where the older 3.2 will not have this safety addition.
if you have an abn and get in before the end of financial you can get a new triton cheaper than most of the secondhand 3.2 tritons.
the tray is also a small bit longer and deeper.
