lol. I didn't realise. Thanks Dave..Southern Cross 4x4 wrote:The August date will clash with the logan challenge, 20-22 August??
Considering Suspension Stuff is the major sponsor for both events I am going to be very busy that weekend.
Unfortunately I don't set the dates on either comp. If I did the Suspension Stuff Challenge would be every month.

1 day event. $50
However you can drive for free the next day as long as you pay camping fees. Check Scenic Rim web site for that. I think $7 each.

Had a good time Brendan I love the extreme mod class but it was just to big for the old 60 mate sorry. Put it back the way it was with stuff we could all AND use to drive. Dont forget about the guys that do the comp and then drive the same car to work on Monday as there was a few of us that had to pull out because of it. We all go out there to drive hard and put on a show for the spectators and at the end of the day we also have to keep it real. sign me up for the next one and im sure you will take all this into consideration Cheers
Not sure what it was like for the competitors, but IMO spectator wise it wasnt too crash hot.
No one at the front gate could give me a detailed discription of where the different classes were competing. Many other spectators wandering around asking everyone where the comp was happening.
I will continue to drive there, but dont think I will ever head back to shoot a comp.
Hope everything went to plan and the competitors enjoyed it.

Did you make your intentions known at the office as all media taking photo's usually get in free and we provide a media vest so we know who you are.Fmx_Aus wrote:Not sure what it was like for the competitors, but IMO spectator wise it wasnt too crash hot.

All the people in the scenic rim shirts new where the tracks were as we ran through them that morning. Also the only track that was further than 300m apart were the extreme mod. Sorry you didn't manage to see any of the tracks. They we all fairly close to the office.
NOTHING LIKE A HARD DAY AT THE OFFICE AS THE HAND BREAK SAYS

Re: Suspension Stuff Challenge 19 June 2010
hey brendon had lotsa fun in the std class taking 2nd place
1 thing we all didnt like was the second track which was beside hand brake hill, that was a extreem mod track last year and there would be no chance of a std 4x4 getting up that even my sierra with my front locca in wouldnt get up that
looking forward to the next one
