You got any close ups of where they let the front bar through the dash and how it is fixed to the floor at the front. Even though it is too late to change mine I just like to c how others done it.

Sorry the other pics I have don't show what your after.

My cage probably wont go through the dash like this one, more through the edge (With the end shaved off) of the dash to a plate on both sides of the floor linked to the chassis.

I was quite happy to drive around the mud but Greg just couldn't be stopped.

Was a pretty good day, S'd up my rear springs a bit though so I have spent tonight mixing packs and jumbling up this and that to set the rear a little stiffer/ more solid.

best bet I reckon is to actually build a "wrap\torque bar" of some kind ..

good to see its working for you though .. Are you using lowered bumpstops at all ?? if so it may be possible to use the overload leaf without effecting flex to much as the spring should not be inverting anyway.

Perhaps a small bumpstop extension in the rear wil allow you to keep the rubber out of the guard as well as run the load leaf to combat wrap ..

the bumper was just a spare... cough cough

now considering making a fibreglass bumper-cover myself... (well, with dad's help) should prove fun ;) and cheap... (allowing for 30"s in the 2nd half of 2004 probably)

already removed the lower mounts for the bumper, just need checkerplate for diff bash plate, fibre glass and resin... hmmmmmm... oh, and I should probably wash it sometime soon! :D

was a nice fun day... I hadn't been out wheeling for ages!

glad you liked the pics though... I'll try getting the videos up tonight...

Yes it is OK now, some other problems though:

~ Mud in the secondaries, have a new carby seal on now - all ok.
~ Starter Motor Died, swapped that last night
~ Dirty Plugs, sorted that last night
