Hi guys
dose any body know where i can get a foward facing adaptor for the gas research throttle body to manifold for a carby 4.2?
i have tried gas research and they can only supply the standard adaptor that faces the passanger side.

They are confused between a 2bbl and 4bbl adapter. 4bbl V8 adapters go left and right, the Gasresearch Nissan TB42 adapter faces either forward or rearwards, they are milled on an offset angle so will lean into or away fron the head about 5 degrees.

thats right on the TB42 you can face it either way, i had one and ran it forwards no dramas,

Got one off gas research about 3 months ago think it was like 80 bucks. like joel said they face forward or rearward. wouldnt be hard to make one if you were handy on the tools

sh1ty, would you have a part number or anything so i can ring gas research and order 1? i rang 1 of there fitters today and he said he would be able to help me with a base plate and an adaptor but he thought it would be around the $250 mark. as im trying to do this mod on a cheap budget i dont want to get ripped off.

nah sorry mate i dont have a part number. i just asked for a 90degree bend to suit there throttle body and a tb42 inlet. not 100% on the price but 80 bucks just rings a bell. that was from gas research in melbourne
