Re: high steer?
Forgive my ignorance but isn't that what is pictured above ???
Re: high steer?
In one of the links he has put up is saying it is the front end of the gq leaf spring and it looks like both the drag link and tie rod are on the same side of the nuckle where the gq coil nucksles have the drag link on the front and tie rod on the rear

Re: high steer?
ive been running gq leaf knuckles on my shorty for the last 7 years.
they bolt straight on. for extra tie rod clearance, you can flip the tie rod
to the top of the knuckles.

Improved geometry that takes into account your lift
more clearance
less prone to damage
Whats not too like?

Re: high steer?
Anyone got any picts of the MQ knuckle swap on a GQ. Apparently they don't work because the pivot angle of the bearings is different, but the angles look the same to me.

MQ knuckle's GQ diff (Coil and leaf are the same in every way BUT the long side is 30mm narrower on the leaf)

Re: high steer?
So no need for offset bearings?? I only ask as I found the following quote from 'Wendle' on another thread:WICKED wrote:See my above post'spatrol_maverick wrote:Anyone got any picts of the MQ knuckle swap on a GQ. What bearings and kingpin caps do you use? the MQ ones or the GQ ones?Wendle wrote: yep, it all bolts up. I had the tapers reamed out and shimmed backwards to get the tie-rod higher again, but it isn't mandatory. If you leave the tie-rod under the arms (standard MQ style), it is a completely bolt-on deal. I ended up putting 2deg offset trunion bearings in, as the MQ's run lots of + camber, which looked like it was going to ruin my tyres a bit too quick.
