Body Lift kit

Hey I am going to make a 2 inch body lift for a Gq lwb patrol.
Does anyone know the length and thread of the bolts i will need to use?
Also how many blocks will i need?
What diameter should the blocks be?

Any information would be great.

I used 65mm round aluminium, could have used 75mm.

You need 10 blocks for GQ lwb.

M12x130mm, you will however need to break the captive nuts out of the very rear floor mounts. Or buy 2 of M12 x 1.25 x 130mm (metric fine thread) to suit the nuts.

I had big dramas with these captive nuts when I did mine, having no other option I cut the floor with a grinder and chiseled (sp?) the bloody things out.

Then welded the floor up.......

I used a holesaw and siliconed a rubber grommet back in after drilling out the captive nuts with a clearance hole. Same end result, different method :)

Wouldn't it be easier to jut buy 2 of M12 x 1.25 x 130mm (metric fine thread) to suit the nuts, than cut an weld...... or are the nuts too weak or something?

The captive nuts aren't welded to the body they are held captive by a strip of steel thats welded to the body, therefore they are prone to slipping when a good amount of force is applied to the bolt. Its hard to explain but have a look at one and you'll see what I mean. ;)
