On the 28th November, which is the Sunday of the King of the Rim, we will have two tracks prepared for an introduction to this competition.
Whether you have a truggy, buggy or highly capable full bodied rig, this event is aimed at you. There are no limits to modifications, so long as the engineering is of a high, safe standard. This will be a self recovery event, so you will have to have a working winch. (If your vehicle does not have a winch fitted, eg. some single seaters, you must have a vehicle there that will recover you). All safety requirements for vehicles are posted on the Tough Tracks 4X4 website.
This class will be running under a modified scoring system, as we have many vehicles with rear steer, and dig capability. We would like to set it up to even the field out as much as possible, so everyone is in with a chance.
We will be heading out there before the comp to set up the tracks, so if you want some input into how the tracks will be designed, please come to the track building day. Date TBA.
Due to this first comp being an introduction to this type of event, we wont be making the tracks too difficult or damaging.
It would be great to see as many competitors and spectators there on the day, to show the support for this event.
