Screwy, we're still looking if you or any of the MacArthur guys are keen for a drive.

Paul, Have a look in the crowd when you get there, see somthing that might do the job then go and find the owner. Ask them if they want to compete.
that is where Nigel and myself got a start 5 years ago with Oz Rock Crawlers (they found us). You may remember just a few short weeks later we went reserve car for you at Nissan Trials after you rolled it.
Food for thought.

Wonder how wet it is! Usually someone does a Saturday day trip and gives a report.

Comp should be over now and winners announced. Wonder if TLCC took home the trophy again?

Just got back - minor traffic hiccup just past the Bargo turnoff..someone ended on their roof in the bushes between the northbound and southbound lanes...

Great weekend - Willowglen didnt let us down with the weather. Tho it appears to have been torrential here in Sydney (my garden is waterlogged!)..Willowglen only got occasional showers today and one or two showers yesterday.

Comp wise - where to begin? We left before the presentation so I dunno who won (sorry!).. but there was some inspired driving - and some brilliant escapes! The sight of a 40series doing an end-over-end down the 'Stepping Up' course was downright frightening. The Kamikaze boys were given a lesson in physics when their truck rolled sideways at the 90 point mark on 'Spider' - and returned to have a highly entertaining run in the mud - without a windscreen!

I cant wait to see the scores..

Ohhh, funny guy huh??? Was always expecting some stories when you lend your truck to another club member to drive!! I was quite surprised it came back with NO panel damage... everytime I've been it's always copped some small knock somewhere. And after 3 CV's were busted this year... chromoly's are not a bad investment really.. time to start saving!!

Glad to hear Bundy put on a good show in the mud event though!!

So did you drive or Navi this year??

Chris, you'll be happy to know this was mentioned at Sunday's driver briefing; apparently some teams/clubs helped TLCC confront some of these knobs, and when Tony thanked them there was resounding applause. Personally, I was also disgusted with the number of p!ssheads who left their empties all over the place at the day 1 events Whoever they are, they do not respect the TLCC, it's property or the competitors, and are NOT WANTED at these events.

But on a happier note..... another awesome Willowglen

Well done Tony, Mary and the rest of the TLCC crew that put it together, fantastic as always

From a navi point of view, the tracks were tops and the scoring structure was terrific. We had a few good runs, made my driver very happy :D Gave us a chance to get at least to 50pts, and got us thinking about strategies. Thanks also to the marshals, I found them really consistent and good to deal with all weekend. Although Blue Mountains didn't feature up the ladder, we all had a great time despite many breakages. The camaraderie at this event is exceptional; a special thanks to the Coalfields boys who gave one of our team a rear axle that got him back in the game.

Bring on Willowglen 2011 !!!

Cheers,
Tony

Fantastic weekend! Dry tracks on Saturday made for heaps of traction, for a change. The bonus lines were a great idea adding the challenge of extra points.

Big congrats to turbo gu and navi scuba from our club AT4 for an awesome 2nd placing   , just a couple of points shy of Charles from Bong Bong in 1st.

My navi and I even scored a stage managers award for Stage 6 on the logs!! :D :D

Massive thanks to TLCC and Tony Price and his crew of helpers who, as always, ran a very efficient, fun and exciting event!

We're back again next year for sure!!

A bit sad to see Willowglen eventually go from 4 classes down to 1 as most of our Club started competeing there in standard class as i know so did many others.

Northwest 4x4 Club would like to say a big thank you to Tony, Mary and the rest of TLCC for a fantastic weekend. This was our first time competing at Willowglen and apart from a broken hilux on saturday we had a great time and will definately be back next year. Thanks to all the other teams and spectators and congratulations to the winners. We would also like to thank the person who loaned us the 80 series cv to keep Nick going.

First of all thanks to the TLCC for another excellent comp, what a top weekend!!! And secondly the law of physics does not apply to Kamikaze  I was trying to perform a perfect roll and keep going but i didn't have enough momentum to get back on my wheels ;) , but in all seriousness it was unfortunate but nothing half an hour with a sledge hammer and a bunch of nissan lovers couldn't fix. Came back next day with guns a blazing and hopefully put on a good show in the mud ( we were freezing afterwards if that gets a laugh out of ya), but the old lux has seen better days but will be there for Toperi. Then a body swap is on the cards, so look out in 2011! Bring it on!!
if it has tit's, wheels or a motor you better have money
