TD42 INJECTOR PUMP MODS

HI ALL, I,VE HEARD ITS POSSIBLE TO FIT A 1HZ 12MM PLUNGER INTO A TD42 PUMP TO SUPPORT APPROX 220KW. ANYONE DONE THIS MOD OR KNOW WHAT IS INVOLVED IN DOING IT?

I doubt many people will let you in on the secrets. I have heard it is the same as whats in the 1hd-FTE injector pump.

There is a lot involved. A 1hz head and rotor is 10mm in diameter not 12. As for the recipe, I won't give it out. You are asking alot to make 220rwkw, it won't be just a pump that is needed to get it there.

quite an easy mod.. simply remove both pumps, remove head from pump along with the plunger and switch the two then bolt back together and then place it on your squillion dollar test bench and set it up :armsup: or you could just pay dzl tech for a complete new pump tuned to what ever hp you want. ;)
