Sway Bar Disconnects

Just a quick question. With sway bar disconnects for a GQ Patrol wagon do you need two disconnects for each sway bar or just one :?:

What do people do with the swaybars while they're disconnected to stop them rattling around?

i have the sway bar disconnects, as i need them for rego for my 6" lift, and havnt worked out what you so with the swaybar when they are disconnected,

the way i see it, it will flop down and get caught and break something, so i leave em off till rego time.

Agree...


We always just unbolt both ends of dad's front swaybar, never had it catch on anything. Dunno if the back would be any different though.

Does that factory in cab disconect actually disconect the rear sway bar completely? :?
Dont expect mere proof to sway my opinion.

As far as I know (which is not very far) it disconnects one side only

That's correct, the factory disconnect releases one side only. The aftermarket disconnects only need one side to be removed (pin), provided the length of the link is adequate to the height of the lift.
