ive been looking at a few ways ie BOSS with tank ,endless air but what about having an inverter and running a 240v compressor ?

would be to bulky i would think . in my oppinion spending the $350 plus on an inverter then buying the compressor. would almost be the same as an endless air set up ;)

Here's mine. All 17cfm of it. Runs off inverter as you can see. :lol:

thats the go mate so you only need a 150 inverter ?? that looks like a pretty big compresor i was just gona get a 2.5 hp one, the 150 watt one should do it fine hey ??

That compressor has a 3.0hp motor. So you might get away with a smaller inverter. Maybe just solar panels.

are you taking the p#ss bro solar panals i was just asking cause the 150watt seemed small on ebay it says they do mobile phones and cd players

Yes mate. Sorry. Thought you were playing along.

Don't think an inverter exists that is big enough for any compressor. Also being a 3hp, a generator big enough to run it would cost thousands and not exactly portable. 8kva or bigger. Pic was done as a joke long time ago.

That inverter is only to do as you say, charge small batteries for cameras, laptops etc.

What are your needs for a compressor? If just any size, go an ARB. If you really need bigger then Boss would be fine. Just thirsty on the amps.
