Hi All,

We are pleased to announce that we now have a Naming Rights Sponsor coming on board for this Series. We are pleased to welcome ROPS (Rollover Protection Systems) Yeppoon. Therefore, the Winch Truck Challenge Series will now be known as "ROPS Winch Truck Challenge Series".

We'd also like to welcome aboard our Series Sponsors - ARB Rockhampton, Thompsons Auto Electrics, Redback 4X4, Blackwoods, Total Offroad, Tint a Car & Round Sponsors - Bridge Street Tyre & Mechanical, Multitrade Gladstone & Lister Motors.

We will notify you all about the camping situation & if trucks can access, due to weather conditions. At this stage all is looking good for the camping area.

Spent today at the Comp Site - very excited with the stages.

Will post more info as we get closer. Fingers crossed that we don't get the cyclones!!!

Cheers

Just wondering if the new Event flyers have been done up with the new sponsor??

If you would like to send some down to glady, a few of the guys will distribute them around town to get as many glady folk out there watching and cheering as possible!!

Hey guys and girls, If anyone is interested in giving us a hand to clear lantana and bunt stages this weekend then by all means come along. We stop for lunch at the Raglan tavern and the creek is good for swimming.

Brush cutters and chainsaws welcome. This is a working weekend though guys so no driving apart from over lantana lol.

We will be on UHF Ch 9. The gate under the power lines for spectator entry will be used.

Cheers

Getting very excited to lose my V plates as a competitor next weekend  . I have been worried about a fitness program I should have been doing to prepare for all the running, but all I have heard is from said plumber/competitor is wake up go to work come home drink beer? If this is the case then im fit as a fiddle. Also good to see a field of toyotas for a change, should be great fun, on and off the track like back at our camp with some other competition happening?

If anyone needs toyota spares ring me with a list instead of ten times a day with parts you forgot :finger: , and i'll bring them down

Cant wait
Cheers

Lantana clearing was hectic and bloody hot lol. The tracks are looking awesome. Very spectator friendly again with 80% of the stages in the main creek area. The water level is slightly lower than last year but still enough to make it interesting.

We have some tough winching planned and there are some nice long runs as well.

Please remember all your compulsory gear and definatly bring lots of water.

Navi's you are in for some hard, hard work!

Cheers WTC

Sorry Phil. Fire creek road is about 2km south of the Raglan pub. We will put signs out on the road telling you were to turn. Once you turn off it's about 2km of dirt road. You can't miss the property.

I might miss the turn because the big Tranny will have a head off steam and my want to cool down a bit at the pub. Maybe a counter lunch before setting up camp. Me not turn up. Only have to put the front control arm back on and she can go on the trailer. Might even head up tomorrow.
