Hi all,
Pulled the rear axle out too far when working on my rangie today and its dropped off the locker actuating slide thing (version 1 maxi locker and 28 spline axles)
Now just trying to get the bugger back in, do i need to pull the actuator block off and line it all up again or can i be lucky and get it to jiggle in with everything still in place??
I guess i could remove the stub axle and then i should be able to look down the housing and see whats going on?
Cheers,
Cal.

You usually need to remove the actuator and line it up. Next time, lock the difflock before you remove the axle - then it will stay put. Cheers Dan

Yeah general consensus is remI've actuator block and line it up from there so will get into that soon. Yep now know about the difflock thing. Guess it's better to find now while it's in the garage not on the side of a hill!dck7aok wrote:You usually need to remove the actuator and line it up.
