yeh mate the fronts are different twin pistion on efi and the carby models are single pistion fronts
i am pritty sure the td42 s change about 92 to twin pistion aswell

i had to change brakes i would get to twin pistion type bigger rotors and they bolt straight on appart from a rotor change much better set up

..got a set of twin pistons and rotors of a later model tb42 and bolted them to my 89 TD42... It made a difference... pulls up alot harder... beware.... changing them was easy... bleeding them correctly took hours....
