Yay! Stimpy is finally lifted! Have cut the guards etc and now just need Greg to fit the 32's for me (looks kinda gay with the 30's)......and the Rockhopper 3 is in the fine tuning state at the moment!

Jimny Body Lift
DRS smells like a cat-food milkshake... and wet socks... and gorgonzola cheese... all whizzed up in a blender
The body lift is 3" - Snake Racing blocks, bolts, extenders etc - a lot of hard work, prbably one of the more difficult ones to do - not for the faint hearted with all the stuffing around - but Ryan and Claudio have it down pat and are going to have a kit - including steering extender blocks, brake lines etc etc - available shortly.
There is so much to change, move and extend......
But the good news is that the airbag ones can be done and engineered as well.
The guards were copied off what Claudio had already done - see pics - mine could have been done a little neater but I am sourcing black plastic to create a complete cover over the cut area, will be same as original.
Make sure you leave the second clip, see photos, so everything stays in place.
You remove the bottom sill cover, then undo all the clips and remove the guards. It can be done without completely pulling them off so you dont destroy the strip between the guard and body, that's how I did it.
I just bent back the metal inner lip using multigrips and a hammer (to be filed smooth and painted yet).
Line up the front one with the bottom bracket - see photo - and just cut up on an angle with a jigsaw or even a small hacksaw - I used both. Scarily, the plastic cuts like butter.
I have one guard left to do, so I can step by step it if you like and post it.

what is it with snake racing and 3" suzuki body lifts? with all their resources, you'd think they'd be able to make 2" solid blocks that screw onto the captive body studs. 2" is so much simpler and safer than 3".

Remind me of companies like Calmini... 6" suspension lifts for sierra's.. people just want to have a tall truck Nam.
