1hd-ft into hzj75

Could anyone tell me if 1hd-ft go straight into my hzj75? What about the clutch and gear box? What modification will I have to make. eg. (throttle cable?, bel housing?)

mate a fair bit has to be done as it has a differnt gear box.. all so ones a mechainical pump other is electronic so heap of wires computers exc . i think a 12ht would be a easyer swap same gear box as well i think...

1HD-T and 1HD-FT are almost identical. 1HD-T has 12valve head, 1HD-FT has 24valve head. There are minor differences, but the block, clutch, bell housings, gearbox compatibility etc are all the same, both are full mechanical injection(no electronics). There would be no difference in the amount of work required to fit either of these.

1HD-FTE is the same engine as 1HD-FT, but electronic injected and capable of more power, but requires chip and tune etc and is a more complicated conversion due to the electronics

What gear box do you have in your Hzj75?

I just had one dropped into my 80 series, can't imagine it would be too different
