leaking injector pump from throttle shaft
Re: factory turbo 80series
Yup. Mine does this too. It's because the return spring on the shaft don't return it all the way to the stop thingo and pulls the shaft slightly sideways into the seal at the top. Mine's seeping at the most so i just lubed everything so it all moves nice and freely and sometimes I have to lift the accelerator up with my foot in the car to release tension on the throttle cable. It probably really needs a new cable and return spring on the pump but this works at the moment.
Re: factory turbo 80series
Not sure if the injector pump is similar on the turbo to non turbo version. I had a similar problem with the injector pump on my mighty 1HZ. I replaced the throttle shaft o-ring and the top rubber gasket (got them at AG diesel in Melb) the only problem is the bloody shaft has to come out from the bottom to replace the o-ring and it can't be done without taking the top of the injector pump off
