EGT's dont always tell the whole story.
I wouldnt give advice on what you could wind the engine up to though. All I would recommend is as much intercooler as $$ will allow, and very sensible fueling.
Basically what I recommend to any customer thats not just wanting max hp for racing purposes etc..

Sorry I didn't clarify, I have a bj74 with a 13bt running a peak of 21.5psi for the last 20,000km. I normally ease up at a max of 700c pre turbo egts. I also know of a 3b compound turbo happily running 20psi. Just trying to find other people who have played with these. Seems lots of people happily shove 20psi+ into other factory turbo deisels
