Hilux SAS jig for shackle tubes

Post by Oldhenry »

Hey I was wondering if there was anyone around the Newcastle area that has done a SAS conversion that might have a set of jigs for the shackle tubes in the front of a hilux. I'm about to start setting my lux up on stands and thought it would be the easiest way of getting them set up perfectly.
Thanks guys.

Yeah mats that would be great. I could just measure and drill but I would rather use a set of jigs so everything is perfect. Where abouts are u at.

Mate I have better luck with measuring than using the jigs.

I mark the hole, i drill through both the inner and outer rail with a long 6mm drill, then come back and drill out the hole with a hole saw.

Bubs do u suggest welding the front hanger on first and then just measure from either side of the hanger bold.
I forgot to write u a msg and say thanx for the gear. It's really top gear u produce mate. Quality is second to nun. Thanks mate
