tailshafts for high pinion

Post by bazuky »

just did a high pinion conversion for black lion swb and after reading on here that after the required swaping of crown wheel and center it just bolts right in and away you go happy motoring .how ever the tail shaft bolt pattern is about 20mm smaller what do we need to do to fix this can we just swap the flange on the pinion over with the original rear are they the same spline or are there any other solitions ?

BUT! The diff backlash will need to be setup correctly again after you swap the flanges.

I have swapped flanges, ignoring the setup and just bolting the flange back on, works so far but if I had the chance again, I'd pull it out and set it up properly.
