yes an exo would be sufficent as long as it had correct cross bracing and down stays .rockcrawler31 wrote:I'm sooooo peeved. Getting married the weekend after so i'll be unable to attend. This soooo much sounds like what i'm after. The last king of the rim looked too hard to be done by a normal harcore wheeler to be honest, it looked more like a short course TT event that went for ages. This sounds like the technical wheeling is a little easier and tactics and driver skill will be more important, plus the fast secions sound awesome.
Just out of interest, will a well made exo count as a cage?
it will be $150.00 to enter .tozook wrote:hi brett how much is it to enter?
Hey i like that. I reckon i could sell that to the missus too, especially since she's peeved that i even considered the idea of hookers and strippers.Rolly wrote:yes an exo would be sufficent as long as it had correct cross bracing and down stays .rockcrawler31 wrote:I'm sooooo peeved. just make it a bucks weekend
there will be an oppertunity for any one who doesnt get a chance to pre run to drive the track prior to the start of racing . but it wont be at speed as there will be spectators and vehicles on some of the tracks setting up . the course will be clearly marked you wont have a problem negotiating your way around.rockcrawler31 wrote:Hey i like that. For those of us that can't make it up there for a pre-run, how well will the course be demarcated on the day for those of us doing the first lap sight unseen. Or will there be an opportunity for a pre-race lap?
HA HA, Looks like the only stripper you is getting is a fat bloke thats had to much beerrockcrawler31 wrote:Great news. After consulting with my Ball and Chain, i have the go ahead to compete and make this my bucks![]()

We have found the link to this event on face book.
I have viewed the rules and would like to know:
1. Can we change tyres from 35's during the day to 40's for that night stage?
2. Can we pre-drive the actual night stage track underlights prior to the event?
3. The owners have informed me Brett and his son are incharge of the track. Please PM me the relevent details if you can't answer on the open forum.

Also, what sort of area or size are the pits likely to be? Big enough for my crew to fix my POS when it busts?
Are there likely to be jumps? just need to know if i need to be putting limiting straps on the suspension to hold the coils in![]()

I reckon that it's more likely to be decided on whether the 3.45 horsepower i have available is going to be enough to actually get some air under the wheels anyway.mickyd555 wrote: there are only jumps for people who have the nut sac to keep there right foot planted otherwise you can keep all 4 on the ground
