I know this is a fairly old post, but I might still be helpful?

I have an LN46 Hilux with 253, 350 Holley on adapter plate to stock 2 barrel stromberg manifold.

Mine has what looks like an original throttle cable, but the end with the stock knob has been cut off, and there is a fitting about 2 inches long with a ball on the end as you would find on a generic GM/Ford throttle cable. This end is held onto the original cable with a small grub screw.

I have no idea where this part came from, but may be able to try a speed shop or something.

Also not sure if it would work, but I was thinking of using a standard 3/5L or 1HZ throttle linkage that bolts onto the side of the intake manifold which has the cable lug attatched on one end and an actuator rod onto the injecotr pump on the other, I'm guessing the ball on the diesel injector pump would be similar size to the ones found on Holleys.
The old Luxy was fun, but with a young family comes great responsibility.
So I swapped it for a 60. Should be able to take the whole mob camping, plus I got an extra gear, 2 less cylinders and A/C.

hey, i just had a simalar problem, but you can just go into your local autobarn and get an aftermarket cable, it's just a standard cable with fitting a screw to lock it in place, should fit all cars,
