If you want solid axel and diesel...you're stuck with the HZJ105R version...either the GXL or the STD (Standard)
You can turbo the 1HZ and they are a great engine that will give you years or trouble free driving hence why i got one
You can always do a conversion down the track to the 1HTD-FTE
My dad is looking at selling his 105 very shortly. its got heavy duty rear springs and a turbo already fitted (hitachi i believe). i'd just recomend that you intercool it while you turbo it. that way you keep cylander temps a bit lower and don't do damage.
