Hi can anyone tell me are the diffs in a 75 the same as a 73 middy? :? Thanks for any help on this.

i have a 3rd mouth 87. i has just tring to getan idear on parts. its hard to find middy parts at a deacent price.

If you are going to do a swap, just make sure you get the same ratio in front and back..... there is a common ratio of 4.11:1 and an uncommon one 3.7:1... but they will both fit.... :cool: :cool:

yer but the later 75s have the smaller high pinion like the 80 series, i have a few parts and diffs laying around from my old bj73, cv , spindals new discs ect.

I thought all 75s ha the bug diffs it was the 78, 79, 70(new ones) series that had the smaller front!

If you find two back diffs from 75s you can put one in the front of you middy

Also front and rear centres from 40 series and 60 series will fit fine. Note that with the 40 series most are fine spline 4.11 but some are 3.7 ratio and some may be course spline
