6bt 350hp injector pump on td42

I have been doing some research and found the only difference between the 6bt injector pump and the td42 pump is the drive shaft is 20mm and not 17mm like the patrol pump which any good fitter and turner could machine out. and the govenour housing is the other way round as on the 6bt the pump is on the oposite side of engine compared to the td42 but the housings are interchangable ive got a 6bt pump and sat it next to my patrol pump and its indendtical has any one else done this conversion or done and research as a brand new 6bt turbo pump is only 1200 compared to getting my pump done up for 3000. cheers

got a 6bt pump today sat it next to my gq pump and only thing u can tell by eye is the govenour housing have swapped it over already was very easy and have a mate machining out the drive gear so all should be good to go by friday

What size plunger dose it have?

as far as i know its a 13mm plunger with 4mm delievery vales and rated up to 350hp will keep updated

Got a part number off this pump or a description number number ie ve6/this helps to tell me a good parts description. I think you may suffer from max revs issues.

Part number I have is 0 460 426 142, 3917002 Bosch. From a 12 valve 177kw 5.9l 6BTAC

ive been called out to work so cant get numbers till i get back my mate got his started today and he said his revs out about 500rpm more then it used to and it flys runs much cooler then his old maxxed out standard pump even though he is running 25psi through a gt35r he is gonna put it on the dyno in the morning and check vitals put he said lot less soot earlier boost and feels way torquey then it ever has and better fuel economy

It's a 12mm Plunger

And like andy said it wont rev enough to do what you want

And by the looks of the description it spins anti clockwise. No good for you, you need a clockwise spinning pump.

Cummins 6BTA diesel engine, the pump I listed is in a UDR650 exploration drill rig running a hydraulic pump group. I don't have a pump, just wrote the number down.
