Ball Joints

Ball Joints
Im going to install new ball joints (upper and lower). Can i do it without taking the brake calipers off and the knuckle? Any tips would be great so i can save time

You should be able to. Most ball joints wii come apart at the knuckle & the n un bolt them from the swing arm. Do them one at a time so the kuckle does not fall down & strain the brake hose.

From memory you don't require taking off caliper, a good size hammer and ball joint separator is a must but...

I just remembered I did end up unbolting calipers, so that I dropped out the ball joints I wouldn't stretch the break lines, that way I toed it up out of the way, pretty quick to get them off and makes job a little easier.

It was easy to change the ball joints. All you need to do is take the brake caliper off the rest is basic. What a improvemnt new ones make!!
