Hey people. Lookin into rebuilding my 1hdt. It's done 456,000kms, have replaced the head gasket bout 2 year ago.
Just wondering if anyone has done it themselfs and what dis ya find? Also what costs were involved etc. I am a Mechanic so labour isn't an issue. Just tryin to gather any info on what people have. Also I'm not 100% sure but are these a sleeved engine or complete cast cylinder?. Was thinking about boring it out a lil bit but I haven't heard much about what are the options on these. And who did ya source the parts from. I'm not a fan of cheap rebuild kits, so where ever possible I wanna use quality parts. Let me know what ya info yas have, cheers.

x2 also + 1mm oversize is maximum
1HD/Z are 11mm between bores as std on all cylinders
The new V8 diesel is ~ 7mm
The old 12HT is 16mm between all cylinders (except 3 to 4 which are 20mm).
