loose knuckles

i just replaced the front axle & cvs on my hilux but now the passanger side steering knuckle is loose , how do i tighten it up

If the knuckle is loose, then one or both of the bearings are shot.
I would pull both sides down, rebuild them and do the job right once ;)

Or did you leave the shims out on the king pins they set the pre load on the knuckle

yeah i have put the shims back in exactly the same as they come out.will buy new bearings and try that

put new bearings in and now its all good
