I traveled a fair few kms on the weekend, so had the opportunity to do some precise fuel economy maths.

So.. 13.6 litres to 100ks.

this is with 33 muddies, 4.6 diff ratio's. Mostly highway driving at 105-115kph, + a bit of suburb driving with a few spirited moments.

mate, thats pretty goof economy considering.

BTW you mentioned your wife in one of the posts, thats not her hanging out the drivers side window, nice paws!!

Nah, that my mate 'fatty', great dog, goes everywhere i can take him.


Have now started prepping for cape york.

Re-sealed the inlet manifold on the v6, they all have a problem at about 100'000 ks.

also have been doing a heap of cut and weld to my camper trailer, making it more offroad spec.

Plenty more to do, but the wife bought a car last week, so the pajero is all mine! ute chop perhaps......
