placemant of pyro probe?

Hey guys just wondering where is the best position for placing the pyro probe,(as in before the turbo or after the turbo). many thanks in advance.

most people go post turbo in the dump pipe for ease.....

The closer to the pistons, the more accurate it will be.

On that note if I was to place the probe in cylinder 1 or 6 exhaust outlet (as they will be the hottest on a std setup) what max temp would I be looking for?

Pre turbo, IMO post turbo is a waste of time and money and gives little to no value.

Mabee if you have a 4.2.
It works well after the turbo on a ZD30. Beats sticking your head in a hole in the ground.

50mm past the turbo flange works fine.

thanks for the reply everyone.sounds like pre turbo is the go.There is a grub screw there allready.just got to get it out.seems very tight.

Soak it in moretein fly spray...Trust me a ship builder showed me.
