placemant of pyro probe?
placemant of pyro probe?
Hey guys just wondering where is the best position for placing the pyro probe,(as in before the turbo or after the turbo). many thanks in advance.
Re: placemant of pyro probe?
most people go post turbo in the dump pipe for ease.....

X2
The closer to the pistons, the more accurate it will be.
On that note if I was to place the probe in cylinder 1 or 6 exhaust outlet (as they will be the hottest on a std setup) what max temp would I be looking for?

Pre turbo, IMO post turbo is a waste of time and money and gives little to no value.

It works well after the turbo on a ZD30. Beats sticking your head in a hole in the ground.
