That's quite low considering your running gear. Nice work. I have been aiming at around 25" or 635mm for belly height, but if yours is 600 I should be able to get that with 40" tyres.

My belly is 650 on full compression on 42s... I run 4-6" up travel
Wow Jeff that is low for mogs...

Micka you get those axles sorted yet ...

Some more trips to Outcast Offroad and some more gear from RuffStuffSpecialities have seen more progress. Greg built a mobile frame to hold Bob's chassis at ride height...

Image

Greg put the diffs under to check how it will look and start fabbing the cross members to take the lower link mounts...

The Sharmoota will be staying around for a while longer...even if it is an underpowered, fuel munching, bucket of puss.

Ride height? or full droop? seems high for ride height.

Ride height, baby.

The boat sides and no quarter panels make it look taller than it really is. Belly clearance is 635mm at the moment, and if possible I'll try to get another 25-50mm down, but having huge diffs and portals means it's gonna be a big fawker.

I'm going there tomorrow to do some more work on it and we'll hopefully have the lower link cross member done and the diffs all but under it.

Fark!...a Terios would have been awesome :bad-words:

Got the cross member made up and the lower link brackets at the chassis and diff ends are all done. After some stuffing around we managed to get the belly clearance to 550mm and wheelbase to 110". Should be able to get the shocks mounted under the bonnet too using 18" travel airs with 5" of up travel.

Probably going to go against my better judgement and run it on petrol now. I really wanted propane, but the ease of setting everything up now, and refuelling whenever/wherever I want later on is going to sway me. Might change it down the track a bit when I swap out the LT for an Atlas.

Massive  to Keith Kreutzer from RovingTracks for making these bad boys for me. Can't wait to have them land on my doorstep in the next 10 days. I'll need to arrange a low loader to get them to Outcast Offroad for fitting :D

Another step closer, Nottie...wish you were here to see them, old mate.

Nice shafts! It's not often you get to see such a fine selection out on display all at once. The last time was that night out at Moreton if I recall correctly....

Some updates:

The fuel cell and rear air shocks have been set in place. These are 2.5" body RaceRunners with 18" travel set for 5" up travel.

Image

I scored a rare day off during the week last week so I headed down to Outcast Offroad and set the front shocks up...

Image

Again these are 18" RaceRunners with 5" up travel...

Image

Image

Tops of the shock hoops J-U-S-T poke thru the bonnet. I was hoping to keep it all below bonnet height but I would have had to lay them back too far for my liking.

Image

I sold my 40" Treps to buy these bad boys. 43" Sticky TSL SX. Get them in a week or so. Can't wait to mount them...and put them on rims.
