Suzuki build
Suzuki build
Hey guys just wanna show yous my build that I'm doin ATM. It's my first attempt at a comp truck I'm build a Suzuki sierra with a 5 litre injectored v8 supercharged. I'm running a 60 series front diff an patrol rear With 16" profender coil overs full hydro steer. I'm running the turbo 700 with a hilux tranfer with crome moloy front input and rear output shafts.... Will keep updating as the build goes on any suggest I'm keen to hear as this is only my first truck so something's I'm still In the dark about. Cheers Nathan
Re: Suzuki build
A landrover LT230 transfer case better idea than the hilux transfer????
Re: Suzuki build
I'd say yes.
Re: Suzuki build
LT230 is much better. But let me put a nother thought into your head. why not run a Patrol transfer with patrol front and rear diffs? that way you have the correct drop and much stronger everything.
One big problem your going to find is finding diff ratios that are the same having 2 different brands at each end. i would stick to one or the other.
I have a spare patrol front diff I can sell you really cheap at my house in Aberdeen if your interested. Or I have a 80 rear.
You are going to have to do some major fire wall and tunnel fab work to fit all that under the bonnet. but it has been done and will be done again. I know the V8 sounds better and all but the V6 como fits a lot easier and there is room for a radiator.
If you go with the LT230 let me know I know where you can get them cheap and Criddy at drag tech makes the addapters for the TH700

He had the coilovers for sale in the for sale section.
