they loose the inner bead at low psi . you would be better off spending extra on a walker evans rather than being disappointed with the savannah .

Whats the issue?
I had never fitted a beadlock before and found it very easy, just time consuming.

Re: Allied competition beadlock wheel 17in
put the rim on a 20 litre drum so the tyre can hang down evenly.
Once you get all the bolts started do them to 10Nm in a cross pattern, then 15, then to 20.
If you have trouble getting them started buy half a dozen longer bolts or some bits of threaded rod and nuts to get things going then once you get the surrounding bolts in change them back to the normal bolts.
retorque the locking bolts regularly, depending on the tyre then can bed in a bit.

Re: Allied competition beadlock wheel 17in
Yes ive done exactly that, but there is an uneven gap between the inner and outer ring? All other beadlocks i have used tighten down so they touch. And what valves did you use?MikeH wrote:put the rim on a 20 litre drum so the tyre can hang down evenly.

Do they have a built in coning ring?

Re: Allied competition beadlock wheel 17in
maybe your tyres are dodgy...
Staun needs to make a dual regulator fill rig so you can air up and down and maintain the correct pressure differential. Without that I wouldn't bother with them.
