Done for another year :)

Thank you and well done to Andrew, Mary & Peter and the rest of the TLCC who ran another superb event

Congrats to the TLCC team (1st), Shellharbour (2nd) and Blue Mountains (3rd), and to overall individual winner Matt Borg (navi Nathan Borg) from Blue Mountains 4WD Club, awesome consistent driving all weekend :armsup

Pretty knackered but up for it again next year if my driver will have me (I think he will :D )
Cheers, Tony

If any of the winning teams or individuals have vouchers that need to be used in Canberra can you contact me. I have $1200 worth of vouchers for Sydney workshops and suppliers I would be willing to swap.

Only reason being that I would like to use the vouchers for labour and in Canberra is going to be heaps easier.

If anyone knows who got the Hume off road vouchers could you ask them to contact me.

Thanks

Justin

ON another note how many competing cars have had starter moter problems after this years mud event. 2 of our clubs cars needed new ones and 1 from another club that i know of. I replaced mine 1 month before the 2012 event.

Is the mud a problem?

Yes I believe so, water level was way to high.
The damage list from our club was quite long,
1 engine 3 starter motors 2 clutches 2 alternators and a pair of seats.
I personally like the mud and its great for the crowd, but the water level defiantly
Needs to be looked at

Mud means money. Drive in it and it will cost. I advoid it like the plague.
Those who choose to drive in the mud do so because they can't drive the rocks.

Every year I have to remove the starter motor, strip it down and remove the very fine sandy grit that gets in after the mud run. :x :x

Not much fun.

Maybe its time for the tlcc to consider replacing the mud event with a different stage.
If there is a list of competing cars that have problems after the mud ?
.Then we can get them to consider a change of this stage.

In the past it's been more of a "water" course than a mud run. Was something different this year?
