I got some armada 3in travel hydro bump stops and mounting cans.
My current setup consists of std bumps, 3in lift, drop boxes (diff pushed forward 15-20mm) and 35's.
The 35's hit when I hit wash outs HARD at speed. but only just and rarely. tyre rubs on the std flare at 12 o'clock position. Probably the shocks topping out before the bumps do anything.
how have people mounted them?
Does the coil top hat need bracing?
The bumps seem really hard. Bashing them on my steel tray didnt budge anything but the steel it hit. Do they need to be softened from the standard pressure?
Will they be harsh at low speed?
Will the heavy GU ever fully compress these bumps?
Up close pics of the welded in can would be great.
