Re: hj47 glow plug issue
my old man just put in a spring loaded toggle switch in his truck has been trouble free for over a year now ..
Re: hj47 glow plug issue
Put a push switch or the like on it and on'y glow it for about 2-5 seconds.
I'd rather be biologically honest, than politically correct.
Re: hj47 glow plug issue
you must only glow for about 3 seconds at 12volt or you melt the glow plugs.

Re: hj47 glow plug issue
Later 2H has 12V (well 11V) glow plugs, if you have it hooked up to a manual switch you should be able to fit these so you dont melt them. Just make sure you use a heavy relay wit the switch, otherwise the switch will burn out in no time.
The old Luxy was fun, but with a young family comes great responsibility.
So I swapped it for a 60. Should be able to take the whole mob camping, plus I got an extra gear, 2 less cylinders and A/C.
