Trimming 5mm off front and rear axles....WTF?

Post by MUSS »

So there is a lot of talk on a number of FB pages about trimming 5mm off the spline end of both front and rear axles to prevent rear dowels and studs shearing and front locking hubs exploding...... can anyone elaborate on this and explain how this works?

cheers,
MUSS

Re-tards, standard 30 spline axles break before the hubs shear off anyway.
