Gday guys I just recently bought an 89 GQ, and I am wanting to chop it into a single cab / space cab, with a separate steel tray. I Have been trying to find info in searches but am not really having any luck finding anything relevant.
Was wondering if there were many guys out there that had done a similar thing themselves. My main worries are what rear cab to use? what to look out for or make sure of for engineering in QLD?.
I am a welder by trade and would be looking at doing it myself in my shed. But I was wondering if anyone knew of anybody around the gold coast ideally or Brisbane that dose conversions, engineering/ compliance plates, or both. Just trying to figure out if its worth the headache of doing it myself or if im better to get it done and engineered by someone, and how much it would hurt my wallet.....
