9012's all four corners John, They are triangulated in the rear ie- / \ which isn't my ideal setup, but was about the best compromise, to run them straight up and down the way i wanted i would only have had about 2 inches of up travel at rest. Soooooo they are triangulated, gives a bit more body roll but it seems fine. Haven't driven it above 40kms yet as i ran out of high tensile bolts and need one new bush in the A frame.
The travel is pretty much exactly like in the previous pics, although up travel has been reduced a tad to allow for the soon to arrive 37z to not press up against the chassis rails too much. I will post pics with the shocks ASAP.
Cheers, Jeremy

Ps: Those guys from down south that plan on comming out for the XRCC Day After Party at Outerlimits Proving Grounds will need a winch if you want to drive the newest section because there is nothing without a set of tracks that will drive out the top section without winching. Its a near vertical climp for around 20mtrs through trees on loose dirt.

OK.....They can come and play there are plenty of tracks leading up to the BIG MUTHA, BUT i was thinking if there is a dual locked vehicle or two and they wish to attempt it as long as i run first and turn around i can winch them out with my high mount? (If it is possible, although this is just thoughts in my head, I am sure, we will see how we go after the steps and the first two tracks!)
GUYS, jeremy looks awesome, hypolux, you KNOW you GETTIT!! SO CMAWWWWN lets get twisted!!
hands and mums dont count!!!

you've got to remember i said this:
"(If it is possible, although this is just thoughts in my head, I am sure, we will see how we go after the steps and the first two tracks!)"
SO we can look around, maybe these guys wont even want to run the tracks!!
hands and mums dont count!!!
Considering it took me 3 1/2 hours with a few stops and no breakages, imagine how long it will take 10 rigs to run it!
I think a winch is compulsory for XRCC isn't it.
If it isn't than it is compulsory to have a winch for the "Morning After Party".
BJ it is one thing to be able to winch a rig out the top up the hill, but it will be next to impossible to winch anyone through the rest of the track as you would not be able to turn around!

You don't have a winch, man you seriously don't think we drive that stuff in the Pics, we winch everything
No really have a look when you get there!
If your driving home its probly not the best idea to have a ago, as so far its claimed- 1 hilux front axle, one rear rover axle, Twisted front driveshaft spline and who knows what else.

I may also end up not being able to enter [$$$ ] but will drive/tow up for the driving in the week surrounding XRCC. I plan on having a winch by then, but not lockers, probably welded rear but that'll be it unfortunatly .
Well, today was a VERY happy day, VERY VERY happy !! Got the final bits and put the A frame back together with a new bush, and jump started the old girl and off we went. I drove it for nearly half an hour in the streets around my area, also a couple of very bumpy potholed roads, and fark me it's absolutly spot on !!!!!! A little bit rough with the shocks set on hardest, but i knew i was gonna have to play with springs anyway. Very little body roll, HEAPS less than dans cruiser !!!
No crabbing, steers straight, brakes straight, peeeervect. Everything works the way it should, brakelines handbrake cables long enough etc, gotta still piss off the proportioning valve as it's a bit in the way.
As i said, hugely happy, thanks to Dan, Travis, Spazbot and Sam for their help !!! Pics of the shock mounts soon. We're gonna retain the coils at this stage and see if it kills the travel, or the springs. Otherwise i'll just have to cone it.
We'll take it for a secret test on sunday
Thanks to everyone else for their comments and enthusiasm, much appreciated.
Cheers, Jeremy
