Temp sender on a G16B (16 valve EFI)

I am trying to figure out why my temp guage is not working, does anyone know where there sender unit is located?

Normally in the inlet manifold near the thermostat housing, from memory has a yellow wire.

on mine its located right next to the thermostat housing. its a plastic clip that slides onto a metal tag that is then screwed into the housing. i had to replace mine a few months ago because the metal tag had fatigued and snapped.

iirc was about $40 from suzuki genuine

Looks like he has eaten that exhaust, but it has a particularly effective silencer built into it...

mmm 16v 1.6 :cool: ... torque below 5,000,000 rpm ... :finger: :D

The lesson i am learning is a little bit different to that one. However, i guess what you are saying is similar to the "a vitara is no replacement for a sierra" rule of thumb too i guess :?
