Geez I never thought I'd be asking this question Where is the best place to get them and how much ??
Is there an online source or a cheap local supplier that isn't marked up to the sh1thouse ??
Are they worth it ??
Will they conclusively fit a Bundera axle ??
Are they worth having? Yes, just watch the 2003 Woodpecker video from when I tried getting up the boat ramp, or ask Ruff about him TRYING!!!! to break them. I don`t think you`d find a single person that says Longfields are crap.

Will they fit in a bundy? Yes.
The original ones which you and I ran i would Agrea. One of mine was at last broken a few weeks ago in another rig after a few years of my abuse.
The newer style they were then selling with the smaller ring i broke after less than 10min of driving in an unlocked rig weighing aprox 1500kg with traction control. And the other one only lasted about 1HR Total.
As for the current Style i have had no experiance with them .
We are currently testing our own Treated CVs in a few different rigs with great results from the last batch. However we are a little way off selling them with any sort of assurance they are treated perfect. Currently we have 2 buggies,3 Hilux's(1 V8 on 38s,1 22R on 37s and a deisel with 34s) and 2 Range Rovers running these with most in the Rock Crawling Comp scene.
These will be much more affordable than Longfields.

Thanks CBR I checked the website and he has a new improved version without the outer ring allowing 45 degree turning.
Might get one of my Mitsi Yank mates to help me out here

We have been realy busy with the general work the company i work for do and we have realy only got more serious about it in the past couple of months. We are just about at the stage of being confident enough to sell them.

Yea I got the new style ones with out the ring. Only used then for about 5 minutes before I S'ed my springs and twisted by tail shaft
I bought them when they were only $US80 and I did not get charged any import duty or GST
So with shipping it only cost be $AUS306.00 to my door.
Chris
Nice. I had a look on the site and if my calcs are correct going on the current exchange rate I dont think you could get away with it for $AUD450. Thats not including import duty or GST (I guessed the shipping to be about $AUD70).
Whats the deal with import and GST. IS it a bit hit and miss as in they only inspect some parcels?

well i think they r crap... they lasted 10 trips max in mine, i run dual case F&R ARB's 37" MTR's.
and dont say they were setup rong coz they wernt, after they broke i had the housing check 4 straightnes and it checked out OK, i had the axles checked and the were OK, i had the swivel hubs and everything checked out by some1 that knew wot they were doin and it was all good.
I was lucky i got the last on the first series and so far they have been fine.
click like mad from new even in a straight line. But no breakages and i give the absolute crap!
