Where did you get the hole in the tank, I take it you were offroad at the time. Can you source a plate from say another fourby and bolt that up. I could have a look on the one under the nissan and see if it will bolt up under the zook for you!

After I busted one I got a tank protector from Suzisport in Stafford. They still have one sitting there to go on their race car that you could probably grab.

The only issues is the LWB tank is bigger so it may not fit if it's patterned off a SWB.

Wouln't be hard to bend one up anyway.

Antt,
Depending on the size of your body lift you either cut the tank mounts off and raise it to just under the rear X member which would give you about 25m lift or if you've got 60mm or more of body lift you move it above the rear x member take the fuel vapor separator off the tank and you can get 90mm lift out of it.
Theres two ways to remount it some people just drill through the X member ands bolt it back on like the http://www.k9rdj.co.uk/tanklift.htm way or else you can do what I done and carefully cut the mounts off and shorten the front ones then put the rear ones on top of the X member and weld em back on.

A few more pix's....
BTW it's a bitch to get the tank up between the Xmembers but it fits with out butchering it just takes a little time work out the angle for the tank to squeeze in between them - a few beers will help too :D

yeah was out having a quick, easy, supposedly carnage free run to cure my hangover yesterday and thought i'd managed to come out unscathed, till i walked out by my car last night and smelt the petrol.

got it repaired today, so i'm gonna look at the lift and bashplate on thursday.

too bad i've only got a 50mm bodylift so i wont be able to lift it that far
