T700 to Lux Transfer Adaptor

Post by TOYrantula »

Howdy All,

A mate has a 262 Chev in his Lux and is sic of replacing the gearbox all the time. He is currently looking into using a T700 box and is sourcing a local place (SE Qld) as to where he can get the adaptor to mount to his trnafer case. His lux is YN65.
Any help would be appreicated.

Regards,
Damien

You can make an adapter for under $100 and then all you need to do is get the shaft cut and re-splined and that should cost around $80.

Really? Well I'll keep that in mind for if and when my box goes and am after something stronger.
He isn't that mechanically minded and prefers buying off the shelf stuff.
Thanks anyway

I beleive Richard at 4x4 engineering can also make these adapters for a lot less than marks.
