I run a firm 2 inches, would'nt mind an extra half inch or so.

With the wheels and diffs I am using I am 14 inches wider than a standard narrow track Zook

I think that im a bit under 2100mm

Ruff would be about 2070mm (I think)

Antunac and Dobbin would be at around 2300mm (educated guess although I think Antunac said so at TT)

If I ran the d60 dront axle then it would put me at about 2300mm. Mog axles about the same (I hope)

Most of the US competition rockcrawling rigs are less then 2000mm and have a WB of about 105 cause they really try to keep them manourverable (sp?).

60" without tyres (WMS to WMS) length, im at around ~99" or similar

but i plan to be at 90" wms to wms, one day with 5 tonnes :shock:

That an interesting point - rear steer. If XRCC takes off you wont want rear steer.

I was thinking about making rear steer but with penalty for using it it makes you wonder if its worth it.

I will probably set up the rear diff to have it but leave it locked off till we know for sure if it is or isn't worth having.

They are building the tracks nice and tight to beat Pete and Dobbin so building a small light and mobile truck would do better than a big truck with rear steer.I think Tuff Truck will be penalising for rear steer next year 10 points each I think.If you look how much Pete used the rear steer to an advantage he would have accumulated more points than than the advantage that it gave him.

Sam I totaly agree, I am saving my $$ and putting it into things that work and less gimmicks, more drive the truck than letting the truck drive you.
I think todays events are more setup for driver, nav ability than the storm through everything with 52" tyres.
The more you put on your truch the more points you will loose if you use it, so I think the best thing to do is use the KISS system.

The simpler the truck is the more time you have to drive rather than playing with all the levers and less time looking where you are going.
