They are building the tracks nice and tight to beat Pete and Dobbin so building a small light and mobile truck would do better than a big truck with rear steer.I think Tuff Truck will be penalising for rear steer next year 10 points each I think.If you look how much Pete used the rear steer to an advantage he would have accumulated more points than than the advantage that it gave him.
Sam I totaly agree, I am saving my $$ and putting it into things that work and less gimmicks, more drive the truck than letting the truck drive you.
I think todays events are more setup for driver, nav ability than the storm through everything with 52" tyres.
The more you put on your truch the more points you will loose if you use it, so I think the best thing to do is use the KISS system.
