i have removed most of thr sticker, but a sticky residue remains and has become a poo brown line along the side of my lux.... wat can i use to remove it
also anyone got some tray dimensions for a ln65 xcab , i wanna make myself a nice tray
you could also try them new magic eraser thingys..... there a new small square cloth thing for women to use to clean the kitchen and shit..... apparently they're really good for removing the residue left after peling of a label so maybe they will work in remove the decal residue ? ? ?
I have this shiat stuck on the side of my 4runner. I just gave since I am doing the body swap.
Its hard work getting it off. I tried Perpsol and Acetone. Both work well but alot of hard work. I did one large patch with a heat gun, was alot better and quicker, have to be carefull not to take the paint off as well.
Dude , I am a signwriter & have to remove that crap everyday.
The BEST thing to use is TURPS. Get a rag give it a good soaking keeping it wet, leave for a few minutes then come back when it has gone soft & rub it off.
You will probably have to do it a few times, The longer the sticker has been on there the harder it sticks ( & harder to get off )
Hope that helps

At work (panelshop) we just use the hot air gun and the prepsol . use it the same astoymad said with the turps soak the rag and put it over the glue for a couple of minutes and scrap off with a plastic scraper or your finger nails and with the rag itself.
I removed the TOYOTA sticker on the tailgate of my lux with trusty Big Kev's Goo Remover Just soaked all the sticker with it ,left if for a few mins then peeled off with a surfboard wax scraper.Easy and only cost a few dollars. Good luck with it!
heat gun and scraper....be careful but it workslike a treat and no chemicals

There is a special tool you can buy to do this that attaches into your drill and removes the decals and the sticky crap in one go. Have done half my car but need to get another one of these tools to finish as it was carts' and he had done his whole 60 already.
Only thing is good luck finding the tool, its rare none of the auto shops stock it dont even know where Carter got it from

yes it took off all his decals and a good amount of clearcoat and took the paint right back to primer in some spots.
the heat gun and the chemicals mentioned so far are better, but I wouldn't use acetone, it will strip some car paints. eucaluptus oil and wd40 are the winners.
