dose anybody know what size socket is used on an BJ73 front whel bearing locking nut.
are all the toyota ones the same size.
i think they are 55mm but not sure

I use 2-1/8" for luxes

yeah 54-55mm i think. will measure tomorrow. (i made my own with a lazer cutter then welded it to an old socket.)

luxs 60s 40s are all 54mm
if you dont wanna buy a tube socket, use a screw driver and tap the nut off

Was at DON KYATT 4WD SPARE PARTS today & they had sockets made for these. front & rear were diffrent sizes. 1 was $27 & the other was $37. You can find thier add in 4WD MONTHLY. They have 1 in most states.

i really dislike this method. as it stuffs the nut and then my socket doesnt fit on :cry: ;)

i agree as to why i am looking for the socket, found out they are all 55mm
